Airbrushed Heath Ledger / Joker, 16x20 inch Canvas.

This particular artwork was completed late last year, for a client who's partner absolutely loves Heath Ledger and the Joker, therefore it was decided that the artwork should reflect this and with the help of the client we merged 3 different images together on Photoshop, to create the reference for this particular artwork. The painting was created using different tones of grey and black with some white highlights and only a hint of colour on the Jokers lips. Airbrush Asylum displaying at the Kustom Nationals @ Phillip Island Race Track.

We will be displaying and airbrushing at the Kustom Nationals show this weekend.

A great way to start the new year, we will be set up at Phillip Island racetrack with a couple of Harley's on display including the skulls and guns bike and the dragon and castle bike.

If you are looking for something to do then feel free to visit us, we will be located inside, in one of the lock up garages with an 11x4m area to showcase some of our works. As well as the Harley's we also have the new terminator mini bonnet and the SlipKnot bonnet on display.

Chucky half tank complete, ready for clear.

We have been busy working on some exciting new half tanks, which will be mounted on one of our display stands located in Motorcycle dealers in Melbourne.

This particular tank has a Chucky theme, the evil doll that starred in the hit horror classic 'Childs Play'. The mural itself took many hours rendering all of the gashes and stitches in his face and the fabric on his jumper and outfit. After the Chucky mural was complete, we masked up him and the skull and began sketching out the stretched skin and ribs that will frame the murals, the skin alone took nearly 1 day to complete.

Airbrush Asylum is happy to announce that we have our first Pet Groomers on board helping us to promote our Pet Portraits. Bombora Bus at Wine Rules event.

Today we visited one of our customers 'Bombora Bus' who were selling coffee and food at the wine rules festival @ Elwood Park.

Jamie Schena's - Mechanisation exhibition Opening Night @ Gasolina this Friday night from 7pm.

Jamie Schena's exhibition, Mechanisation opens this Friday the 11th of October from 7pm @ Gasolina Bar and Restaurant in Southwharf, Melbourne Australia.

If you have any interest in cars, bikes or anything automotive then you need to check out this exhibition of incredible metal sculptures. 

Jamie's attention to detail is incredible and the replication of popular automotive objects like hot rods, drag cars, trucks and even Harley's is flawless.

The exhibition runs from the 11th - 25th October so if you can't make the opening night then I suggest you get to Gasolina at some stage to check out this exhibition.
