Latest Harley Tank with Matt Clear

The following pix are one of our latest creations. The skull originally from the Exploited album cover, has been slightly modified and set above a flame background with lettering as requested by the customer.

This particular tank was cleared using Matt clear to keep with the entire 'Old Skool' theme of the Harley.

Any airbrush artwork can be finished off with either Gloss or a Matt finish to suit the customers requests. Please visit our website and check out the gallery to see more completed work, visit us @

This weeks projects

Another busy week @ Airbrush Asylum, worked all day today on a Harley two layer flame job. Masking up the final layer now so that the gold pinstripe flame can be airbrushed on and then its off for clear and Flowcoat with Cerami Clear (Hardest wearing clear available).

Once the Harley is done and dusted, I will be moving on to finalising a few designs for a Lion on a bonnet scoop and Guns / Portraits for an upcoming Harley project early January 2012.

It looks like we'll be airbrushing more mini skateboards over the weekend as they have been extremely popular with kids leading up to christmas.

Thats all for now, until next time...keep paintin'

This weeks projects.

Airbrush Asylum is always completing a variety of different commissions, with this weeks line-up being no different.

We will be starting the week off with a mural to be completed on an interior Garage door in a new shop located in Williamstown which sells classic Cars and Bikes and also has a Cafe and an in house museum.

Once the mural is complete then we move onto completing a flame job on a Harley that we are working on.

You can check out all of our artwork on our website @ www.airbrushasylum.com.au You will also find loads of Tips & Tricks and videos as well.

Bomber 48

The Bomber 48...The owner wanted the bike to look black from a distance, but upon closer inspection you can notice rivets, metal panels and rust around all the joins.
A Pin-Up mural fly's across the tank on a bomb, with 'Forty Eight' in script written on a torn banner. You will also find Military 'HD' logos, hand painted warning signs and other Old'Skool themed artwork.

Check out all the pix on our gallery page using the following link :

We hope that you enjoy the pictures, until next time....keep paintin'
